Movies are like a book come to life but you don’t have to read!!!

My favorite movie is called Freedom Writers.It’s like a sad sort of drama like My Sisters Keeper. Its about a new teacher in room 203 and she is teaching a bunch of  criminals and gang people ect. She was upset her first day at the job and then she felt bad about the kids and saw what they were going through and that’s how it all started…

She went to the head master and told them they need real books and not papers stapled together, real supplies and not something you would use and then throw away. She has the principle against her and thinks that her students are bad. But she stands up for her kids gets them more supplies for there school days.Getting new supplies and everything meant so much to her students. She has this idea that they should write down their thoughts in a jurnal and if they want to let the teacher read them to just put it in a cabinet. The next day she looks in the cabinet and everyone put their note books in it. Its almost like they enjoy going to school now and that they think they are safe there.

She read all the note books and was so sad about the lives of the kids. They had a celebration because all the kids are starting a new life now and a better one to. A kid read something from his diary when the party was still going and in this part my mom was crying. I think it is the best movie I have ever seen. I also think it’s one of the most sad. I can tell in the movie the teacher really is strong for her students and can stand up for them. Its a movie that gets you going and you just cant stop watching it until its over. It might be bad for some kids to watch because of the violence and language,its also rated PG-13. My first time watching it was on TV. My mom was watching it with me and I was having a party with my family and it was so loud I couldn’t hear it so I wanted to see the whole thing. I watched it on Netflix and really enjoyed it .

I say its a movie to watch ( if you can ). It might be hard to understand at first but if you watch it the second time you will get it better.

Its amazing what you can do when you trie your hardest. Its so inspiering in  what you can do with how little you have and not what you don’t. So here is my question. If you were evicted what would you do,who would you tern to and how would you make it through. We in Kensington NH or at least in our school we all have a home. But if all you had was school,would you Make the most of it or let it go?

Catfish Pond

Catfish Pond is a pond that I go fishing in. They  have frogs and fish.

I went their with my friend griffin and I only got 7  fish.  Then I just went to the side of the lake and dropped my fake bait and my hook in the water and something grabbed it so i just yanked it and their was a  catfish at the end of it and I think griffin was mad because he wanted a catfish. I thought that griffin and my self were going to be there but then we had to get my brother and griffins brother. But it was kind of fun with more people and I just couldn’t get more fish.

Then their was the time were my uncle took me and we didn’t catch any thing but we still had a great time and we talked for a wile and it was my first time fishing their at the pond and the first time ever fishing. Anyway we had a fun time and he said I was pretty good and that he will take me next year and he did. He also said he wanted to go ice fishing with me but he never went with me or did he go by himself.

There is one thing that I always saw at that pond and it was the swing. I loved the bench swing. It was green,cracked and I still liked it. I went on it when I was three years old and when I was ten years old. It looks like it was their fir a couple years but its 2011 and still standing. I don’t want them to take it down but I have no control of that. This is the pond and something that looks like the bench swing.

 I love this pond so much I would go there to fish every day!!!!!!!!!!

Explicit Songs

Explicit songs are a disturbance  to some people and a disturbance  to some neighborhoods say, at a local party. Kids are free to listen to explicit songs on a computer, i Pad,  i touch or any thing that has Internet. Most rappers swear and I think that’s wrong because a song isn’t better when it has a swear in it. I’m not saying don’t listen to rap because there is a choice,  explicit or clean. I love rap music but I like clean rap. I don’t want to listen to music  and here beep this and beep that the whole song.

I think there should be a child block on certain songs and when a kid purchases a  CD  a parent should watch out  for the advisory sticker. This way kids will not hear what they aren’t supposed to hear. All the songs on my I pod are clean and some songs are just plain songs with no swears to start with.The most horrible song  I have ever heard is Kim by Eminem. I heard it at a friends house when we were looking for random songs, Again on the computer. It was only good for 6 seconds. Then it was a song of  torcher. Explicit songs are called how they are said, wich is bad.

I just cant stand how wrong it is. At first I thought a rap was to express your feelings and to have something to rhyme with. I looked it up and the meaning of rap is rhythm and Poetry . I also herd a song called Rappers Delighthttp://www.metrolyrics.com/rappers-delight-lyrics-sugarhill-gang.html. There is no swears what so ever and it has Rhythm and it’s kind of poetry. Why cant all songs be like this, it’s not hard . Why can’t you write a song like this… Its easy. Now I can get that off my chest, I can say that I have A good suggestion for a letter to the company that shows suggestions  

Just a few days ago I saw a five or six year old boy swear when he fell on the grass at the town park and when he said that I was thinking were he got it   from and It came to me … a song. It’s that or his parents swear witch I don’t think they will around their child. I do not want to here another explicit song, its annoying. Explicit doesn’t mean just swears its also what the people talk about and this kind of explicit can be heard on the radio and I have heard things about girls and killing and its just not okay to say this and some people get away with it and some people don’t . It depends on what they are saying and I can’t listen to my favorite songs because of this

Pit bulls

Pit bulls are my favorite kind of dogs. They are mean looking, but also nice.

Some people say they are mean and attack everyone. But that is because their owner trains them to and if they don’t the owners beat them. I really think people should stop thinking this because its wrong. I saw a tan and white pit bull at the SPCA. His name is Tyson and he is very cute. He had a sign on his kennel that said ” I wont hurt you i’m just scared.”

Any way, I really want to save that pit bull at the SPCA but my dad is one of those people that think they are a bad dog. I cant blame him if he is judging by looks and I hope he is not. I think they are in second place for strongest dog in the world. I was going to start a charity but it would Just fail. I would give the money to this place were they keep unwanted pit bulls and they feed them and take care of them. I will admit, they can be wild some times. I am not allowed to have a pit bull in the house that I live in now so I will have to wait until I am 18 and find an apartment that  actually lets pit bulls in.

That’s right. Pit bulls are so hated in some places, they have signs that say no pit bulls allowed. I think that is wrong because I went in one of those buildings and I saw a boxer in the hallway barking his lungs out. A pit bull will just stand by their owner. I know that there are some things said about them but if they attack its because people use them as guard dogs and train them to attack. It should be a law that you can not use pit bulls for unnecessary attacking. And if you do you should be put in jail for a good amount of  weeks.I’m not saying you cant use dogs for guarding but you use one for atacking whats the point. I don’t have any thing el’s to say so here is the sign and the dog.WARNING The link is of a pit bull attack and the police know it is the owners fault and may be disturbing to some people.

Bows and Arrows

I have a big interest in bows and arrows . no. I don’t hunt. I’m only ten. Then there is the steps. Really,STEPS!!!

There are a lot of steps so I will just go into the basic ones after I show you what you need:

• A good bow-  A good bow is the most important thing to have. My bow is a compound bow, there is recurve,compound,long,reflex,self,straight and composite bows.
• Arrows-  Arrows are your ammo and I recommend carbon or fiberglass because wood is not accurate neither is tin.
• Pull pad-  Two kinds of pull pads are the leather ones that go over the three fingers, thats for any bow and the one you pull back and has a trigger witch is for a compound bow. The pull pad keeps you from getting blisters.
• Arm pad-  The arm pad protects you from the arrow when released. Don’t want one. Well lets see how that comes out in the hospital.
• String-  You probably know where that goes but there are wire,rope,fiber, and horse hair strings.

steps:

1. Have the nock of the arrow on the bow string ( back of the arrow )
2. Pull the arrow back a little so that your index finger is on the top of the arrow and your middle and ring finger are on the bottom of the arrow.
3. look at one spot on the target the whole time
4. When you go back to shoot, pull the arrow and push the bow at the same time
5. Pull arrow back to the corner of your lip.
6. Steady the bow until you have control for five seconds or more.
7. look at one part of the target that you want to shoot at.
8. let the arrow slide off your fingers
9. Wooooooooooossssshhhhh                       HIT!!!

If using a compound bow you do the same thing but you have a sight. Only arch your bow if you know the arrow will not go straight to the target.

I used to have a fiberglass bow but they aren’t so good.

I love my bows. The compound bow on  the top link is a little different because the wheels are bigger than mine. Bows can be shot without pads but you can really get heart. I made my (own) rule that you should make sure that no one is in front of you when you shoot. I have a friend named C.J. and he uses my rule. I don’t recommend a compound  bow as your first bow. Kids with a normal pull of 30lbs should start with a 22 pound pull . if your pull is 15lb pull you should start with a 10 pound bow. So no matter what your strength is, just go down a few pounds so you don’t pull a muscle.

You can pull a muscle in many different ways, such as by not listening to how hard your pull is and saying ” I am strong I can get a big pull weight.” I started with a pull strength of 7 lbs and now  I am a 30 pound pull back. Also. You can pull a muscle by shooting a bow for a week and then waiting a week and then shooting it again be cause you cant do something and let your muscle rest and then all of a sudden use it.

The muscles and tendons you use when shooting  a bow:

Arm holding the bow

• Pull back arm.
• Deltoid
• Biceps

Arm pulling back on the string:

• Pectoralis major
• Obliques
• Anterior forearms
• Flexor tendon sheath
• Abductor pollicis brevis
• Flexor pollicis brevis
• Opponens pollicis
• Flexor digitorum superficialis

As you can see there is a lot of muscles and tendons. I cant tell if I got them all but I am pretty sure I did. I know for a fact that when you use a bow a lot you will use muscles that you have never used before, and I think I have been getting stronger and I got better at  just eyeing at a target without a sight. So bows can make you good at a lot of stuff.

If you want to, I am not saying you have to, get a bow for $27,$40 or $90 dollars at Walmart or online.I have their $40  one and I use it a lot. So if you want one here is a link for the online bows.

They are pretty good bows.

If you looked at the blue bow after I listed what I have, I got it for $20 and it was a $200 bow. I also go to a store called Big Al’s Archery located in 146 Lafayette Road  Seabrook, NH 03874-4510
            (603) 474-3575      . It is a very good store and it is a little to high in its prices for me but maybe not for you. So I do recommend going there for your stuff.

So I think all I have to say now is get out there and shoot!
